April 15, 2005: (1.0 hrs.) Tried to make a little headway on the right fuel tank while I also addressed various tasks on the wing.

Here I have clamped the access plate cover in place in preparation for match drilling the nut-plate screw holes.

Once the access plate is match drilled, the reinforcement plate is cleco'ed into place and the nut-plate rivet holes are match drilled.
All the holes in the rib, reinforcement plate, and access plate get deburred.  The nut-plate rivet holes in the rib get dimpled and the reinforcement plate get countersunk.
Deburring the edges of reinforcement plate with a scotchbrite wheel in my drill press.
Riveted the nut plates to the reinforcement plate and rib.
April 16, 2005: (1.0 hrs.) Started fabrication of the t-405 attachment angle.   The plans are pretty sketchy with dimension for this thing.  There is a radius call-out with no dimension!  The plan detail for this part is half scale, so I ended up just measuring off the plans.

Here is the part with my first pass rough cut using the band-saw.

Here is the completed part.  The bottom curve gets its shape from the inside contour of the root tank rib.  Once all the rough cuts are made with the band saw, I use my bench grinder to smooth everything up.
